Here at Ribbon Box, we believe love and romance are year-round. Not just at weddings, and certainly not just at Valentine’s Day. But if you are planning a wedding for this most romantic of holidays, or just like the color schemes, it can be a great source of inspiration.

Many blogs are featuring great, simple DIY projects themed around Valentine’s Day at this time of year. These might pique your interest for wedding favors or just for decorating your own home:

Calzone Hearts from Craft

DIY Sewn Heart Garland from Elizabeth Anne Designs Weddings

Valentine's Day Wreath from Our Best Bites (a super quick DIY!)

See-through sewn valentines from ohdeedoh

You could channel the colors and romance for gifts for the bridesmaids:

Red Earrings

Red earrings from Etsy seller sharonclancydesigns

Red Ruffle Purse

Ruffle purse from Etsy seller mermaidsdream

And if that wasn’t enough, what about a romantic Valentine-like wedding invitation?
