Word of the Week: Ganache



1.a whipped frosting or filling made with semisweet chocolate and cream, used for cakes, pastries, and candies.

Wedding Wise:

Chilled ganache is the foundation for an amazing truffle- which are then rolled incocoa, powdered, sugar, or topped with nuts, spices or other treats. Truffles make a fantastic addition to any dessert bar or favor. Godiva makes delicious assortments!

When warmed, ganache becomes a glaze type icing that can be poured over wedding cakes, making a fantastically delicious cake choice for those chocolate lovers!
