We’re back with the next installment of Signature Drinks by Color! For the next few weeks we’ll be going through the color spectrum with some inspiration (some classic, some unique) and recipes for a yummy and photoworthy signature drink. Have one you’d like to share? Send us an email Tiffany@ribbonboxevents.com and we’d be happy to feature you!
This week, our color palette is focusing on green!
A post on green just wouldn’t be complete without an appletini! These are a great signature drink- sweet and sour, not something you’ll drink oodles of, but a great first drink- and definitely bring a splash of color. You could not pick a simpler recipe either! Combine 1 1/2 parts green apple vodka with 1 part sour apple schnapps- shake in ice and serve!
My absolute favorite drink also gives the color of green, but in a more natural way. To me, it’s not summer without a mojito (or 10!). The green color comes from the mint leaves-and it’s fresh and light- and is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
I’m also a big fan of sangria fan- something about the wine infused with fruit.. yum! This next one has the same spirit of sangria but with vodka, kiwi, and melon flavor. It’s equal parts vodka and midori with half of a muddled kiwi, and some sugar (not too much!). Midori calls it a Randy Little Kiwi. I call it delicious!
