Simple Seating Display

For a take on the average escort cards, why not hang them up instead of folding them on a traditional table? Read on for the quick and easy how-to that won’t break your budget.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Thick foam board (at least 1/2 inch thickness)

clear push pins

hole punch

thin ribbon

Business card sized cardstock (I  used Paper-Source  in Poppy and Sage  . They also have great gift tags that would work well for this project)

Wrapping paper of your choice ( I went with flora & fauna tiny print blossom wrapping paper from Paper-Source) I love the pattern, and their sheets are the perfect size for this project- no cutting needed! It’s also a thicker, quality paper, making it easy to work with and not damage or tear.

Hole punch your business cards , insert ribbon, with enough room to loop it onto a pin. (I alternated colors and used an airplane stamp since this event was inside an airplane hangar).

Unroll wrapping paper and put foamboard on top.

Fold back sides, creasing as if you were wrapping a present. Use stapler to secure. Be sure wrapping paper fits snugly across foam board before securing. This will give it a clean, smooth surface.

Insert clear pushpins. Use a ruler if the wrapping paper is solid. If you have a pattern, repeat the push pins so that they are evenly spaced among the pattern.

Hang your escort cards alphabetically..

Display tabletop, or on easels as your guests enter.. enjoy!

Afterwards, you can use them as pretty pegboards in your home office or another bedroom!
