Word of the Week: Swag

Swag

Officially:

noun

1. A suspended wreath, garland, drapery, or the linke, fastened up at or near each end and hanging down in the middle.

Wedding Wise

We’ve all been to a wedding where the table linens have had some swagging, or draping. Basically, swag is fabric used to drape tables, ceilings, or walls to create visual interest and depth.

Why not take it to the next level and make a dramatic impact on your reception venue? Ceiling treatments create drama and intimacy.

In a white tent, a burst of color really pops and takes away the monotony of the traditional all white tent.

Paired with some uplighting, and you have a gorgeous, ethereal look that is simply striking!

Cheers to Lesko Photography for their generous permission to use their images! We were fortunate to work with Dave last year in Dayton on this fabulous wedding at the Dayton Art Institute! More on that later..
